That connection began long before the brand itself. Anita has always been drawn to the craftsmanship, symbolism, and enduring beauty of Pendleton blankets—pieces that carry history, culture, and artistry through pattern and color.

Her relationship to this aesthetic was further shaped through her years raising and training her own horses. Over time, Anita owned and worked with seven horses, primarily Quarter Horses and Paint Horses, developing a deep respect for both the animals and the culture surrounding them.

These experiences continue to influence her work today, most visibly in the Anita Horse Series, where movement, strength, and spirit are translated into wearable art.

The result is a collection that reflects both cultural appreciation and modern creative expression.
